Hi guys!
Happy humpday!
I still had my migraine when I woke up this morning (GRRRR) but I immediately squashed it by taking two excedrin migraines. It killed it in about 20 minutes and I was very happy (and very caffeinated since those are basically just caffeine pills). Thus being the case, I decided to lay low on the coffee this morning!! I started my day with a Fitnessista breakfast cookie—
Made with the usual 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 2 tbsp vanilla hemp milk, half a mashed banana and 1 tbsp chocolate peanut butter.
Once at work, I had an earl gray tea with stevia and skim milk
Which made me remember how much I LOVE breakfast teas. This was sooo delicious. Maybe I will go on a tea kick for a little while!
A little while later I snacked on a peanut butter cookie larabar 🙂
And then for lunch today, I had the incredibly delicious leftovers of my cauliflower curry from last night. I served it over half of the sprouted brown rice and just zapped the whole thing in the micro for 1 minute and dug in. It was actually better than it was last night! This is totally the kind of dish that gets better as it ages…
I also had some grapes—
When I got home from work I had MORE grapes (they are so good right now! and cheap!)
And a pure protein bar to get me all ready for BodyPump tonight!
I had a good day at work today and got a lot done, due to being incredibly caffeinated all morning. 😉 I baked tons of mini cookies—
Honey wheat rolls and cinnamon raisin CHALLAH! (hehe)
And olive baguettes—look how crazy that dough is! It was bright purple!
It was a bready sort of day! Just what I like 🙂
I’m off to throw a load of wash in before I head to BodyPump. See you tonight!!

I’m guessing…I really don’t have a correct answer for you! This is just the microwavable instant kind that I featured in my last night’s dinner post.

December 3, 2008 at 3:55 pmI have been wondering, how big are these breakfast cookies? They look like they are bigger than my head..and if that is the case I HAVE TO MAKE ONE NOW!
I figure they may be on small plates and I don’t want to be disappointed when I figure out the cookie isn’t actually the size of a dinner plate.
HOLLA!

December 3, 2008 at 5:31 pmI am ALL ABOUT the protein powder in oats, thanks to you. With the PB choco combo it reminds me (vaguely) of cocoa krispies….YUM! And it fills me up so much more than regular oats.

December 3, 2008 at 6:16 pmYou know, I always felt bad for people who get migraines because I’ve never had one. Then, this past week, I had a headache for 2 days straight, even in my sleep and when I woke up in the morning. I was in so much pain. The only thing that would get rid of it temporarily was caffeine, which is a bummer since I’m trying to kick the caffeine habit. What’s a girl to do? I’m glad you’re feeling better!

December 3, 2008 at 7:05 pmNicole,
They are big as you spread them out to be! I suppose you could spread it to be the size of a huge entree plate, but it would be quite thin! I have been spreading out mine to be the size of an appetizer plate though 😉
