Dear me…all that savory food from earlier in the week has really started to take it’s toll and now all I want are cookies!
Cookies, cookies, cookies!
Hand over your butter and chocolate now…I show no ingredient mercy!
While I concoct my next sugar-riffic recipe in my galley sized kitchen this afternoon, I leave you with these five cookie recipes.
Make them. Soon.
3. Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
4. “Long Winter” Molasses Cookies
5. No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies (Adam’s favorite!)
Wanna come over for dinner and dessert? We’re having cookies…followed by more cookies.
Because that’s how I roll.

February 24, 2011 at 11:29 amOh, that would be the perfect dinner for me. With a few glasses of ice cold milk 🙂 Or maybe some hot chocolate would go better, after all, I’m freezing over here.

February 24, 2011 at 11:33 amthe other day I was making my go-to recipe for cookies and the dough was SOOO dry! I couldn’t figure out what was going on so I added 1/2 a stick more butter and then remembered that I had forgotten the eggs. So I added them and baked the cookies— best chocolate chip cookies EVER! I highly recommend EXTRA BUTTER!!!!! My recipe has been amended.

February 24, 2011 at 11:53 amOh man, I may be making cookies tonight! My family has a recipe similar to the No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies called Smoky Oats or Boiled Cookies where you actually boil everything except the peanut butter and oats, then stir them in at the end. They are by far my favorite!
Natalie @ Will Jog For Food

February 24, 2011 at 1:51 pmI will give your fig newtons a try. My dad loves old school cookies that’s aren’t too sweet, like hermits, molasses, ginger, and these english raisin and currant sandwich cookies we used to call “squashed flies.” He will love the newtons!
