Well I am feeling a bit better after resting and eating dinner. I am definitely more than ready for a bath and my pajamas right now though! We went to a bar/grill here called Dockside, which was on the river. Since my body was desperately in need of a major detox, I ordered a huge salad and an appetizer portion of seared jumbo scallops for dinner.
The salad was really yummy and HUGE. It was a big mix of field greens topped with feta, dried cranberries, candied pecans and crispy pancetta. On the side I got the dressing, which was a white balsamic. I only used a bit because with all the flavors in the salad, it really didn’t need any dressing!
The scallops were okay. I didn’t expect them to be basically immersed in a butter sauce, but I guess that’s what I get for ordering seafood at a bar.Ā On the upside, they were HUGE and three filled me up. Probably because they were so darn rich!
On the way home, Christie and I stopped for ice cream. I got a kiddie cup of pumpkin…my favorite!!
Well, I am off to bed. I’m pretty excited because tomorrow after work I get my hair done (just highlights and a trim) and it will be my last time ever with my fav hair stylist. I’ve had the appt. since October and can’t wait. I looove getting my hair done!! On another note, I am having some upgrades being done on the bloggie and just had to update to the new WordPress, which is scaring me a lot at the moment. I hate advanced technology!!
Have a great night!

December 16, 2008 at 10:37 pmAahh! I just read your last post…too much wine will do that too ya! Unfortunately, more than one glass of red wine usually gives me a migraine. Blech. Hopefully tomorrow you’ll be in tip top shape! I’m sure you will, especially because I’ve noticed how nice you’ve been being to your body the past few days (besides the little incident last night hahah)
