March 21, 2011 at 2:00 pmGosh, Jenna…you are just so gorgeous. Also, the food and decor in these photos looks so perfect that it’s almost fake–like it’s something from a romantic comedy or a food magazine! Everyone looks so cheerful and it’s all picturesque and beautiful! I’m so happy for you!

March 21, 2011 at 5:13 pmI was just in Austin too! I fell in love 🙂

March 21, 2011 at 7:28 pmI know you aren’t documenting your food intake and are just posting tidbits of food in your life, but I find it strange and misleading that you title picture 15 “my plate. amazing” and then the next picture is of the same plate, but you are clearly sitting across the table in the background with your own plate. That’s just dishonest to me…

March 21, 2011 at 9:33 pmaustin is the best!!
next time try:
torchy’s tacos
trudy’s mexican martinis
continental club for live music
mt. bonnell for a great view
hula hut for great tex-mex/polynesian fusion food
draught house for great beer, you can just pull up a lawn chair and drink your beer out in the parking lot by your car!
eastside cafe: a cute quaint house with good food, they plant their own veggies.
rudy’s bbq and salt lick bbq.

March 22, 2011 at 2:20 pmWow great pics, I hope to go to Texas sometime soon!
You know I was reading some old posts from a year ago when your hair was dark and it looks like you’ve lost a lot of weight….I know you don’t write on these subjects anymore but was wondering if you’d touch on it since you’re taking a different approach towards exercise, etc. I understand if you don’t want to touch on this…just a thought and love your blog so very much 🙂
HilaryJo
March 22, 2011 at 5:43 pmhaha i was thinking the same thing as Sara–you do look thinner, and I was wondering what your approach to food/fitness/weight control is these days! I hate to admit it, but I am pretty burnt out from running, but I eat so much Im afraid to quit!!
jenna
March 22, 2011 at 6:06 pmI have lost weight but I’m not sure why so I can’t really offer up any diet tips, unfortunately. I’ve just been doing yoga and eating when I’m hungry so nothing new there. I haven’t run since September though so perhaps I’ve just lost muscle weight!
Sara
March 23, 2011 at 10:27 amHaha I’m the same way HilaryJo!! I’d like to lose a few pounds and am so burnt out from running, but am afraid I’ll gain weight with the way I love to eat!!
Thanks so much Jenna for answering this….I’ve heard yoga does amazing things to the body, and it’s interesting you mentioned muscle weight because I’ve noticed I’ve gained a lot of muscle in my lower body from running which is probably why I’ve gained….perhaps I should really start getting into yoga! Although it doesn’t look like you’ve lost muscle, you look great Jenna and thanks again for answering! 🙂
HilaryJo
March 23, 2011 at 7:01 pmYeah thanks for answering 🙂 I think I need to get the eat when HUNGRY down…not all the time!! haha
