As we bid 2013 farewell, I thought it would be the perfect time to get a fresh start on this next year with a pretty new planner!
I’ve talked about my love for Emily Ley products on this blog before and this gorgeous new Simplified Planner is the best of the best. Guys, it’s incredible. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, but it’s incredibly functional as well and keeps all of your daily, weekly and monthly plans {along with meal plans, goals and family plans} in one neat and tidy place. The colors are vibrant and fresh and I love the inspirational quotes on every page.
I’ll be giving away one of these beautiful planners to a lucky reader to celebrate the new year! I have one and can’t wait to start scribbling in it later this week – I know you’ll love yours as much as I love mine!

December 30, 2013 at 5:00 amGood luck to you on your journey. I have been an ER/trauma/ICU nurse for 15 years. It is the toughest…most frustrating…most rewarding calling you will ever heed (I don’t call nursing a “job”..for it truly needs to be a calling)
My biggest words of advice to new nurses is to learn early how to set boundaries and take care of yourself. Showing kindness and compassion to others is important….showing/giving kindness and compassion to yourself is even more so.
Good luck:-)

December 30, 2013 at 9:01 amThe next 2014 is gonna be my crazies year! I feel like I’m doing a marathon run with so many things to do even from the 2 remaining days of 2013. I’m expecting to take some more university classes in order to be able to graduate and take the internship at the same studying time just to gain more confidence and experiences. Later on, I’m gonna take a social internship abroad to “step out of my limited border”. But to make that happen, I have to do more part time jobs to save enough money for the trips. And the main point of the whole year is the full-time job hunting. I’m both excited and so worried when things get to move so fast.
