I feel safer with mama pea around….for many, many reasons.
The most exercise I did while at the foodbuzz conference consisted of walking to and from different feeding locations.
Last night, while picking up soup from the Whole Foods hot bar, Almanzo started laughing hysterically, told me to “come here” and then proceeded to take an up close iphone photo of my left nostril to perfectly capture the glob of chicken chili I was keeping there…an unfortunate side effect of sampling soups from plastic salad dressing containers.
I think he still likes me though.
Sometimes I drive around with my kitchen aid in the passenger seat. And a bag of baked goods in my purse.
Sometimes I also pretend to talk on my cell phone while walking around Target…for no apparent reason.
I always read the dessert menu first.

November 9, 2010 at 12:26 pmThe Whole Foods hot bar incident redeemed itself just because it took place at Whole Foods, where wrong or shame clearly does not exist.

November 9, 2010 at 12:40 pmSome of mine:
– the only exercise I do daily is from fridge to chair to bathroom
– i just ate 3/4 of a giant tub of hummus
– a lot of food bloggers have passionate guys in their lives, and it makes me want it too.

November 9, 2010 at 12:40 pmSometimes I talk on the phone (to myself) in Italian when I’m waiting in a line somewhere…this way, when I end the “call”, no one usually bothers me, because they think I don’t speak English!! 🙂
