As many of you know, we recently moved the boys into the same room together to save on space and get ready for baby boy number three coming this fall! I was initially a little worried about how the transition would go, but other than a little bit later nights and earlier mornings, it’s all good. The boys LOVE being so close and now instead of “Grayson’s room”, it’s the “brother room”. 🙂
I am itching to start nesting and getting everything ready in the nursery for our new little one! We are using the same crib and furniture, but I ended up moving things around a bit to make it feel like a new space. I will show you guys photos of everything once we are all done. It’s going to start coming together here soon!
Anyway, as a mom to soon-to-be three boys under the age of five, obviously cleaning and, um, deodorizing is a must. I am pretty cautious with what products I use, especially around the kiddos. For all purpose cleaning, I use Thieves and a little goes a long way. I use it on the floors, nursery furniture, windows and just about everywhere. I love it. For stinky furniture and the air in general, I have been loving the new Febreze One products (you can print a coupon here!). Unlike some other air fresheners, there’s no heavy perfumes or dyes. Also it’s not aerosol, which is important to me! The scents are super light and not overpowering (when I first got pregnant, I actually had to toss all of these other air freshener products I had because the strong smell of them would make me gag, so I consider myself to be pretty sensitive to this sort of thing), and so far, my favorite is the Bamboo.
I feel really good about using this around the boys and so far, it’s worked some serious wonders in the bathroom, on the nursery glider, on Grayson’s mattress and on our couch. Those seem to be the four hardest hit areas around with all these boys, especially with one still in diapers. 😉 I’m always on the hunt for products I feel good about using and sharing, and this definitely fits the bill.
We’ve definitely got a lot to do in the next couple months to finish getting ready for the little one, but I feel like I made a good start. Now it’s just the fun parts like washing and folding newborn clothes, putting away teeny tiny diapers, washing and sanitizing pacifiers and trying to sleep as much as I possibly can because I have a feeling that with three little boys, sleep is going be rather elusive for a very long time. We are so darn excited though! I seriously can’t believe I’m going to have a new little baby to snuggle with this fall. Newborns seriously are a piece of cake compared to toddlers!

April 10, 2019 at 9:05 amIts been two years now that I have not only maintained my post-drinking weight loss, but also maintained my journey to good health. I still learn new things every day and have come to a comfortable place where I eat what I want in moderation and exercise to feel good both mentally and physically. My exercise comes in the form of power yoga, running, cycling and sporadic weight lifting. I used to exercise to burn off the calories I hadn t even consumed yet and now I work out for my sanity more than anything else. I crave the feeling of mental clarity that comes with finishing a challenging 90 minute yoga class or long run. And I love the way my body looks and feels when I am consistent.
