Hi guys! happy HUMPDAY! =)
I am feeling like a totally new person today. 150 times better than yesterday, that’s for sure–thanks to tylonel pm and 8 hours of sleep yesterday! This morning I had a new oatmeal creation—reminiscent of figgy pudding 😉
The combo was 1/2 cup multigrain cereal made with 1/2 cup silk and 1/2 cup water, 1 sliced banana, 1 spoonful hazelnut butter and topped with two dried figs! I discovered yesterday that I LOVE dried figs! Adam was making bread pudding with them at work yesterday and I snagged a few. The texture and the “crunch” is addicting. I swear.
Midmorning I had my favorite—
And for lunch I had my favorite Amy’s pocket sandwich, which has been in the freezer at work for a few days and had to be eaten!
Along with a honeycrisp apple:
I’m always in awe because these pocket sandwiches are pretty low in calories (260 to be exact) yet are SO filling! Maybe its the fact that it is a hot sandwich and the filling is just sooo tasty….
I left work in a rush to make it to my hair appointment and snacked on a larabar on the way
I didn’t end up getting home until 6:30 and Christie had a Thai feast waiting….
While I was having my hair done, she went and picked up Sumo House takeout for us! We split the Basil Tofu (the same thing I had the other night but tonight she requested steamed tofu not fried in the dish), steamed dumplings and miso soup. It was delicious!!
I ate two and she ate two 🙂
My portion of yummy tofu
I “made” us dessert—Amy’s chocolate cake with a little coconut milk ice cream:
Here I am enjoying my Thai!
I got bangs! Wooh wooh!
Work today was incredibly busy………I was bad about taking pictures because I had to much to do and didn’t even have time for a lunch break, let alone a photo shoot :(. Please forgive me; here is some chocolate mousse
And some new SWEET potato focaccia!
I’m off to take a bath and maybe watch a movie with Christie. Tomorrow is Thursday! I move home so soon!!!!!! Christie has some 11 mile bike ride planned for us when I get off work….we will see if that really happens though. Haha 😉
Have a great night everyone!

December 17, 2008 at 8:23 pmHey Jenna! I have that same FEED bag, bought it at Whole Foods. Great cause. Also, I totally agree with you about how almost all Amy’s meals are so filling(and tasty!), yet so low in calories! Most are pretty high in fiber too! Good stuff.
